My muses. Did you ever see anything so pathetic...
and yet so adorable...in your life? <g>
This is Gwendolyn aka Beanie Baby (one of the aforementioned muses). She's a peek-a-poo. We got her in December 2005. She's about three months old in the pic on the left, and about eight months old in the pic on the right.
This is Merry Midnight. She's a beautiful cat with a wonderful, quirky personality...but oh-so-testy when it comes to being touched. My younger son can cart her around all day and she purrs and is nice as pie to him. The rest of us in the house...hahaha. I can usually pick her up and love on her for a few short seconds before she bites. But anyone else, forget it! :) In the pic on the left she's around 2 1/2-3 months old. In the pic on the right she's about nine months.
And this is my darling Matthias (my other muse). We rescued him from a shelter in the summer of '05. He wass approximately 4-6 years old when we adopted him, and is an absolute lovey sweetheart. He loves to lay on my desk and look out the window. He comes down every morning and if the blinds aren't open, he scratches at them until I bow to his command. :)
This is our newest sweetheart, Molly. She's a rescued stray who's zany and beautiful and we're so happy to have her in our family!
What my pets do for entertainment... <g> We have two little Chinese hamsters named Peach and Yoshi. When they're active, watching them is my little dog and black cat's favorite pasttime. Notice, however, that I have the top to the hamster tank strapped and tied on...in order to keep the cat from turning the entertainment into a snack. LOL!
This is the freshwater aquarium in my office. You can see the platies (the orange ones), a couple of my clown loaches (the striped guys in the front) and the blur of my angel fish just to the left of center. The angel fish is about 6 inches in diameter now...huge and very beautiful. My son named her "Angie." :) The clown loaches are named Francis and Ronald...and there's one hiding in the pots to the left that's shy and only comes out at dinner time...his name is Sebastian.
ML as a baby. I've been told by my family I still make this face when I'm pissy. :)
